School Success Backpack Donation Program

Thanks to the generosity of our members and credit union partners, we provide a brand new backpack and school supplies to our Youth Members each year as a membership benefit! Eligibility to receive a backpack and school supplies is simply to have a Youth Account at Cutting Edge.

Milwaukie-area backpack distribution week is August 12-16 during regular business hours!

*Backpacks available while supplies last on a first-come, first-served basis.

Your donations make a difference!

You can help our Youth Member community, ensuring they have a successful school year by donating school supplies! Cutting Edge provides a stylish new backpack* to every school-aged youth member – and we need your help to stuff them with the school supplies they need.

Please consider donating new, unused school supplies at your local branch. Supplies needed for each backpack include:

• Glue sticks
• 24-pack of Crayola crayons
• 12-pack of #2 pencils
• Pink Pearl erasers
• Spiral notebooks (wide or college ruled)
• Composition notebooks (wide or college ruled)
• Kid-safe scissors
• Crayola Washable Water Colors

Optional items needed include:

• Pencil boxes or pouches
• Package of low-odor dry erase markers
• Kleenex or facial tissues
• Ear buds
• Lunch boxes
• Protractors or compasses
