Join TodayWHO WE ARE
Not-for-profit means you profit at Cutting Edge Credit Union. As a member that means you have access to higher rates on savings, lower rates on loans, and a wide range of services at little or no cost.
Cutting Edge Federal Credit Union was originally chartered in 1953 by ten volunteers who believed that a credit union would benefit the employees of Oregon Saw Chain Corp. After starting as Chipper Chain FCU, our name has changed – first to Omark FCU, then Blount FCU before becoming Cutting Edge FCU in 2002.
Cutting Edge serves the employees and families of Oregon Tool, OECO/Meggitt, Day Wireless, Bob’s Red Mill, Criterion Brock, CCI/Speer and many other companies located near their offices in Milwaukie, OR and Lewiston, ID. We also serve those with specific connections to the Lewiston, ID and Clarkston, WA communities too!
From the early beginnings, Cutting Edge has always served its members in true credit union fashion putting people before profits. We’re all about a different way of banking. Join today to be a part of our banking Revolution!

We are CDFI Certified!
Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFI) are mission-driven financial institutions certified by the U.S. Department of Treasury. Cutting Edge FCU became CDFI certified by providing financial services to help economically challenged individuals within our community. This means that we put programs in place to help low income and credit challenged members get access to financial products and services to help make our community better.
